    This year's annual concert for children and families will feature dancers from Ballet Virginia! Hear Raymond Jones from WHRO tell the story as Symphonicity plays in Sergei Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf."     A little play on words in this title reveals what is in store for this concert! Maestro Boothe and Raymond Jones from WHRO lead us through a delightful introduction contrasting the features of Mozart and Haydn. The concert will feature two of our most special guests, Ànnika Jenkins, and National Symphony Orchestra cellist, Steven Honigberg, as they are featured with the Symphonicity Chamber Orchestra in this beloved classical repertoire.     We end our 40th Anniversary "virtual" season with a finale that features one of our favorite Symphonicity soloists! Thomas Pandolfi takes the stage once again in what was the world-premiere of Polo Piatti's latest piano concerto. We'll also share some of his famous encores! Maestro Boothe and Raymond Jones from WHRO talk about the future for Symphonicity including news about the 2021/22 season! Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture serves as the finale and kicks off the summer. Complete with loud choristers, booming canons from within the theater and glowing fireworks behind the orchestra, it'll be WOW!
