Rachel Keene Martin

Rachel became a member of the Symphonicity double bass section in January 2020 and serves as co-principal. To her new leadership role, she brings a wealth of experience from her time with organizations including Virginia Arts Festival and Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

 

Originally from the Richmond area, Rachel began her musical studies at age 10 and is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University. She’s a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Hampton Roads Chapter and serves on the Emerging Leaders Board of WHRO Public Media.
